They just proceeded to call my home number three different times today already. I know I have also come across this number on my home phone before. When called back it says US Mortgage quotes. Answering machine. Allegedly when you press 5 that tells them you no longer wish to receive calls from them.
In Washington and sent an email to the man by "Mr. Joshua" inquiring about a home we were interested in renting. Filled out the questionnaire/ "application" and we have only been emailing and texting. When I asked if we'd be able to see the inside of the home before we sent the "refundable" deposit, he continued to ignore my request until he finally said he needed the money before sending ANYTHING. This morning he calls at 5:30 in the morning multiple times. When I answered he was barely able to speak English. Please be careful people!! Definitely will let trulia and local authorities know about this scammer!
Phone scam. They try to get you to turn on your computer and make you go to a website so they can infect your computer with a virus. If you do what they want you will pay for them to fix it. Block them from calling you.
