877-696-5858: Not sure who they are or why they called; they didn't leave a message, making them as useless as this website.
877-696-6015: Received a call from this number. Caller explained that we owe Yellow Pages money. We do not advertise with YP, so not sure where this call came from. Caller said our balance was $697, but if we paid today it would only be $549. Feels like a scam.
877-696-6015: Keep receiving the same call I asked the lady to fax me all info she never did but called me again claiming she did and that I agreed to pay on a certain date and was literally yelling at me on the phone saying she's been recording the calls to me yet wouldn't play back the call where I supposedly said I would pay this amount. She said well I'm turning it over and Ill see you in small claims I said go ahead lady.
877-696-6015: 1. Calls with "HI this is so and so with Yellow Pages are you the business owner or an authorized representative who can discuss, accept, and pay for charges?". Answering this broad question allows them to either splice the sound into whatever is desirable for them or it allows them to catch you in a Web or agreeing to one thing but simultaneously agreeing to another.

2. You'll say I owe you no money and they'll reply with "You don't remember? You've had our service for over a year!" If you tell them you have no reason to owe them any money and hang up.

3. You'll get a call anywhere from a month to a month and half later from either a male or female. The male tends to have an annoyed somber personality which turns aggressive when you argue you owe no money. He'll attempt to play sound clips of your conversation accepting the bill. Hang up.

The female may call claiming to be a Donna Hill who is polite in tone when she says "Hi this is Donna Hill with accounts receivable calling about your bill". Hanging up will prompt her to immediately call back. If you don't answer she will leave a message "hanging up on me will not take care of your bills. If you do not call and pay your bill I'll send you over to collections"

REMEMBER large companies couldn't care LESS if you owe them money. One call where you say you owe no money the individual will not care and inform you of the next step. Hanging up on them will not prompt them to call again. They will tidely send your information over to the appropriate collection agency where they will take action.

I have yet to receive even ONE letter claiming to be a collection agency even though I told the last guy to get a life.

So please, inform individuals that the Yellow Pages logo is not copyrighted. The Yellow Pages will not charge you unless you explicity agree to said charges.
