There is a new tax scam being targeting towards accountants and other tax professionals. How it works is the tax professional opens an email from a potential client (the scammer). The scammer will be looking for someone to do their taxes. When the accountant responds, a second email comes with a scam website link or attachment that the accountant is suppose to open. When opened the scammer can download email addresses, passwords, and anything they want from the accountants computer.
